I recently started hearing a pop like sound when I let out the clutch on my 5.0. It only happens when the car is starting to go and the cars is starting to drive. Sounds like its right underneath my seats, and only happens once in each gear.
Sound familiar to anyone. Might be coincidental, but my speed is making a sound now too, think its just the cable though.

Try adjusting your clutch cable. If you are using the stock cable you can do this by pulling up on the clutch peddle and then pushing it to the floor.

If its happening from a stop check your torque boxes for rips and tears.

check your motor mounts and transmission mounts, when it happens at speed is it when you hit a bump or is it when you are driving along

Havent got under the car yet, but drove it again last night.
It seems to happen when I take of from a stop and when I change gears while driving.

Transmission crossmember mount bushings or the trans mount itself. Does the shifter move around alot?

It does seem to move around more then what I would expect at times. And it jerks a bit when shifting at times.
