how did you check from the truck if the pump was working ?
and here is a schematic - follow the fule pump relay -use a test light to see if it has power

the fuel pump relay underneath the drivers seat on a 4banger is a dummy, it has no function.

you need to replace it with a real fuel pump relay, either from a v8 donor car, or buy one for a v8 mustang from a parts store.

just one of the many differences on a 4 banger compared to a 5.0...

what do you think my problem is blind... My 88 4cyl conversion as well has a problem, when i turn key on the fuel pump stays on [Confused] I tried a relay from the junk, about 3 of them but same thing. but i see your saying that relay is a dummy, but when i take it off it wont start

the 92's relay is by the MAF on the engine harness.

probably the ECU or the EEC relay, or whoever did the swap bypassed one of those relay's because they couldn't figure it out.
