It cranks but wont start. i dont think its getting spark...i pulled a plug and had someone crank it and i didnt see any arcing. any suggestions on what to check for will be much appreciated.

alright im pretty sure at least the coil is bad cuz i already tried arcing to the susp tower and nothing happened. i couldnt get a volt meter to use so ill try that soon.

well atleast your smarter then me because i went to buy a new coil before i even check the one in my car and i was wrong sucks.

i replaced the coil and it still wont start! could it be the computer? im running out of ideas here lol

if im not getting power to the coil wouldnt the tfi be irrelevant?

did you check for power at the coil? did you check more than one cyl, also make sure that you dont have spark from the coil to the spark plug wire, then from the coil to the coil wire. you may have tried all that already but just trying to cover the bases.

If the car was running fine then just won't start its your TFI module. I've had a couple of those go out, its very common. Idling in line at the bank it just died, stopped at home for a second and it wouldn't restart when it was just running perfect. I kept 2 extra modules in my glove box with the tool to change it.
