Were is the loud noise coming from or what can it be?
It sounds like a air suction,kinda like a trumpet noise,Has this ever happened to you guys?

i sounds like a smog pump noise but the air flow is being restricted. there are two valves connected to a rubber hose from smog pump, check to see if those are functioning.....

Check hose that comes from the brake booster to the rear of your upper intake. If the idle is sitting high and you dont have brakes, it's most likely that.

Vac leak or a bad smog pump my performer had a bad side cover gasket and it sounded a little like that as if i have a blower good luck man
