do you need that second pair of rear shocks that lay flat on 5.0 mustangs like my 1989 or can they just be removed. they are in the way of my slicks so i want to know if i can remove them and ever thing still work rite

If you mean the quad shocks yeah you can take those off. A lot of people do when they go with big tires/rims

the help fight wheel hop, so if you get hop when launching you'll want to upgrade the control arms so they don't flex like the stockers and cause the hop.

I wouldnt "Just" take them off , if you do then you will probably get wheel hop i learned that the hard way. but if you have upgraded suspension then i would.

if you are running stock rear control arms, just flip them so the body is closer to the rear end.
if you got good uppers and lowers, junk them. They're probably shot anyway.
