I will be running a pretty much drag only car, if i get a heavy duty trans cooler do i still need to run it to the radiator. The cooler im looking at has a fan on it already. Thanks.

I am running a cooler & to through the radiator, from what I have seen& heard it is common practice to run it to both.

Lot of guys run both a cooler in series with the radiator cooler. The important thing is to make sure that one doesn't block the other. Its foolish, but pretty common to see an oil/tranny cooler bolted up in front of the rad, or directly behind it, instead of out in its own cool air stream. Stacking just means you're heating whichever cooler/rad is behind the other, and making both units far less efficient.
