I am going to be buying a bassani catback here soon but I have a quick question. I emailed one of the bassani reps and told him I have a bbk x-pipe and wanted to make sure the catback will work with it. The rep told me he wasnt sure and I may need to buy a bassani xpipe. Is there any reason that the bbk x pipe and catback wouldnt work together?

No, he's trying to get you to buy an X pipe. The BBK X you have is a replacement piece and the Bassani catback will fit.
