I've never even heard about what you are talking about. Recertified for what? Filling?
My bottle didn't have any certification on it. I just took it to the speed shop and got it filled. No q's asked.

All Nitrous bottles are certified when they are produced. You will see a series of stamped numbers on the upper portion of the bottle, that is the certification experation date/code. However I have NEVER had any problems having a bottle filled or even had anyone look at the cert dates. Most shops around here dont even look, they just fill them.

Hey Carajo,
Try CR Fireline in Pacheco. They fill bottles and can probably handle the certification. I would imagine its just a pressure test. Ask for Ray
Good Luck

CR Fireline is on the block right in front of us. Yes right down the street from the California Grand Casino (trust me it aint all that grand).
I'll see if i can get you the number in the morning.
I've been thinking of getting a filling station. Maybe if i ever get the tbird running (it could happen) cause i'll need a bottle a week :-)
