I dropped a valve on the fresh motor and now I have to replace a head and a piston or two. I am thinking about go to a 393w stroker any suggestions? I have a set of brand new h-beems that I want to use that is why I am staying away from any storker kit that would use a diffrent rod. What company makes the better cranks eagle or scat?

I can tell you that I was not happy with the crankshaft that I got for the first 331 kit I put together. That was 7 years ago and it was an EAGLE crankshaft. I am not sure if they have improved but the second 331 had an EAGLE crankshaft and it was fine.
That is my PERSONAL experience.
Never dealt with 351 cranks from them. Just 331.

Ford Racing has used both suppliers. When I was considering a kit a while back, Ford was using Scat cranks in their 392 stroker motors, although now, as reported in Hot Rod Magazine, they are using Eagle stuff in their Boss motors. Most of the parts from both companies are at least cast/forged in China, and then machined in the U.S. Does the fact that Ford switched suppliers say anything about an improvement/decline in quality? There are enough engine builders on this site to tell you first hand.

So what is everyone's opinion on crank scat or eagle? I have never heard a negative comment on about scat but I have on eagle.

I have built motors with both never had a problem with either one. I consider them the same as far as crankshafts go. The only thing different is eagle now offers zero balance cranks.

What about Coast High Performance? They offer the same crank but machined in house by themselves for a lot less money.
