I have VIC Jr's ported w/ k-motion springs (600 lift) and Crane Gold 1.6 rockers. Are they to much for a 302 with 12.1:0 Compression. The Chambers are 64cc. Is there anyway to make them work and not rev past 6500RPM. Also what is the highest compression 100 octane will let me go? This will be on a EFI setup.
They flow:
Intake
Lift before after
.1 59.4 65.3
.2 124.7 127.42
.3 184.1 181.17
.4 234.7 234.74
.5 267.3 270.56
.6 276.6 294.03
.7 drop off 306.19

Exhaust before/after port
.1 56.7 59.88
.2 103.95 110.25
.3 141.75 159.07
.4 157.5 187.42
.5 163.37 201.62
.6 171.67 206.62
.7 drop 206.95

Thanks.

12 to 1 sounds fine on 100 octane and aluminum heads just keep an eye on your plugs for signs of detonation. In my opinion those heads sound fine for this combo, I was considering the same set or trick flow's twisted wedge for a similar combo but I admit I was looking at a 331 or 347 combo. If you decide on different heads and want to sell what you have let me know.

I've heard from a few people now saying they will work fine with the compression(12.1.0) I want to run or maybe even higher if 100 octane permits.
What Intake would work better, a ported TrickFlow R or Ported Victor? I'm leanning more towards the trick Flow R because I don't plan on Reving past 6500RPM.
I if I do decide to sell I'll let you know.

Is there anyone else out there running a similar combo?

everything you are running is designed for high RPM. You are hand cuffing your set up buy limiting the RPM. JMO. I would call a cam designer and get a custom ground for you. good luck

you can run 12:1 on 91 octane i do it all the time lol with no det. im also fuel infested, but you can still do it, it will save you some gas money. just never let the motor get too hot or gaet too lean.
