I just picked up a truefiber 3in cowl.I cant get the thing to latch correctly. The first latch will set down,but the latch where you use the hood switch wont.
Any ideas?

Got some advice to raise the locking mechanism. Thanks

Try pullin the hood forward carefully. See if that'll help get it to align [Big Grin]

had the same problem with my 1.5 hood. the metal where the latch locks onto is to thick so it cant wrap the hook latch around it. i made another one out of sheet metal, take the thick one out and rivet the sheet metal one on...works fine now
