Im in need of a new clutch cable, and looking for advise on which way to go. do I just get a replacement cable from ford, or should I order a kit from summit that includes a quadrent and firewall adjuster. If you say the kit, what are the pros of the kit over just the cable? Thank you

all I can say is deff the kit, plus I the ones i've used are aluminum not plastic and if you're into mods you'll want the adjustability

get the kit from www.maximummotorsports.com

do not use an adjustable cable, only the firewall adjuster.

if your stock clutch cable is still fine, keep that and use it with a billet quadrant and firewall adjuster, best setup you can get.

Agreed. All the adjustable cables I have seen are made overseas and are junk. The OEM Ford cable is the best one. That's why all the Maximum Motorsports kits use the OEM Ford cable.

Thanks for the advise on the MM piece. I ordered it this week and installed it this morning. [patriot]

That kit from MM is sick, way better than stock.
