i was under my car today and noticed my panhard bar was broken any ideas of what could of caused this to happen its a kenny brown panhard bar it doesnt look like rust got to it or anything like that heres a link to the pic http://www.californiafords.com/cgi-bin/album.pl?photo=/00005546/PANHARD.JPG

thats the panhard bar bracket, not the bar, right??
if it ia just the bracket you might be able to have it welded, then braced, then welded again, just have it reinforced to the max

It looks like it was binding somewhere to break like that. If your going to weld it, I'd find a piece of pipe that fits tight over the bar, slide it at least 4 or 5 inches past the break on both ends and weld the shit out of it. Use some heavy gauge tubbing and I think you'll be ok.
