When I turn on my heater the fan blows but does not heat up; same w/ air conditione. The fans blows strong. I checked the radiator, some of the hoses, and the fuse; basically everything I could think of. What could causes this?

is air coming out of the vents? is so, then it does sounds like a heater core problem. there are doors in the heater core assembly that are probably malfunctioning that reroute the air. in your situation, it sounds like the blend door.

this could be cable operated or vacuum. i'm not sure on these...

check under the hood to make sure the heatercore lines are running from the engine to the firewall and back, and not bypassing the heatercore with the 2 hoses looped together.

just look right behind the throttle body, you'll see the heatercore tubes sticking out of the firewall.

if the heatercore is bypassed you won't get any heat because the engine coolant isn't heating it up.

it was probably bypassed because it was leaking, and it's a PITA of a job to replace.
