I bought a new set of MIL eliminators from Dallas Mustang, put them on and the car won't start right up. The next time I start it there was smoke. I pull them and see the resistors are fried, plastic was melted all around them. Hook the O2 sensors up without the mil eliminators and the car cranked over and the theft light was flashing. The EEC fuse was blown, replace the fuse and the car starts on the first try. The next day I go to start the car and it wont start but the theft light was not flashing this time. The fuse is still good and it will start just not on demand. Any suggestions of what to look for? It's a 97 gt.
