I was goint to purchase a 1994 cobra block and tranny for a fox roller that I have. I know the 94 Cobra intake has a weird elbow on it. I was wondering If I could just drop in the shortblock, the block and GT40 heads. And slap in my trickflow intake would it all drop in? WIth no modifications? Also can I use the 94 Cobra tranny on my fox? Thanks for the input.

tranny will work as long as you use an sn95 bellhousing

aside from the upper manifold and headers everything else should work on the motor

motor driven accessories are spaced differently, so you can't mix and match from fox stuff, you can use either all fox, or all sn95.

otherwise, what was mentioned above.

SO I have to use the water pump, smog pump, power steering pump, etc etc. All from the 94 to fit the fox????

94/95 input shafts are 5/8 longer than fox, so the bellhousing is deeper.

whats the diff its still a 5.0 with like 15 more hp ? sorry dumb q will it be that much faster?

difference is.......

intake, cam, rockers, heads, and other lil things i might be missing, maf and tb i think......

oh and when i was stock, i use to smoke intake and exhaust foxbodys all day! [burnout] imagine my motor(same motor ur putting in) in a fox [Big Grin]

so im sure they have more than 15hp over a reg 5.0 [Wink]

Aw man, this flamer backed up on me. I already rented a trailor to haul the damn car. It was gonna be a steal for $1,000 for the whole 94 Cobra. LOL Oh well DAMN. [Confused]

of a guy. Drove all the way to Tennessee (from northern Indiana) to go pick it up. When I got there he had changed his mind!

still will handle 450rhwp no prob. [Wink]

Oh OK "John B" LOL JK. But yeah seriously I seen some crazy 383 stroker chevy guys with hyper not forged pistons spray 150-250 shot in their blocks and run it like that for years it seems like. Iono, I guess it's all in the tune. But yeah, having forged pistons makes me sleep better at night. [Razz]

if u dont spray alot, or up the boost alot, u will be coo, ya forged shit will be safer and shit but im just saying what u can do without em
