I have an AOD with a 3000 rpm stall converter. It has the lockar cable TVR adjustment but I adjusted the TV cabel through the TV pressure port. The problem I'm running into is that I can't get the pressure to be consistent. It is not in the length of adjustment...I used a micrometer to make sure it doesn't move. Someone told me that the early AOD's had problems with the throttle body warping. Can anyone help me out on that. Sometimes it shifts normal and other times it doesn't shift at all.
Whats the best year and combo to use with this transmission??
