Why are they so loud & noisy?, I remember when I had my stock gears they were very quiet, How can I quiet down the 3.73: gears?

The Smog tech told me I have to put both 2 1/2" LX tailpipes back on beacuse he doesnt want to risk his sensor getting caught in the dyno while the machine rollers are spinning, so when I put them back on, my exhaust is going to be quieter and all Im going to here is my gears spinning

Race parts make racecar noises. Mine howel, but it's not that bad.

Check you gear oil fluid level. What you may think is just a wet spot is really a leak.

TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT SMOG SHOP!

IME FRPP 3.73's are very very quiet. You may have a setup issue.

I've got ford racing 3.73's and they are quiet as stock. I went to the "differential specialists" shop in Hayward and they did a great job.
