hey my bro in law just got an 04 mach 1 with about 40k miles on it. wondering what the first two mods should be within a decent price range other then exaust. and keep it smog legal...

I say LOWERING SPRINGS. Tell him to get H&R Super Sports... killer stance and the ride is damned improved!
Other than that? I say get the diablo, I noticed a good SOTP increase in power after I tossed it in!

Get a shaker extension, it really does make the shaker look meaner!

other than that, pull the snorkel off, get a K&N!

430's,and drag radials, Short throw shifter, h&r's springs w/ bilstiens. Just weld in some mufflers you guys like, No need to drop $400-500 on a catback for 3 more hp. and a knn or whatever intake you like.

I second the PHP spacer. A great cheap mod. X pipe and a catback. H&R springs have a great stance. The stock Tokico's are pretty good but nothing like bilsteins. MGW shifter is fun too.
