my little brother found a 88 5.0 with an aod tranny but ive heard nothing but bad things about those trannys and as you can tell im not familier with fords. does anybody have any inputs about aod trannys...thanks

not sure on how those trannys last, but they probably aint the best... how much do they want for the car? or did he get it already?
