The Ranger axles will be the same as stock width The 94-98 Axles will be about 3/4" wider per side to allow for the disc brake mounting.

A SN95 rear axle/brake setup with the SN95 wheel will put the 275/40 tire right to the edge of the fenderwell lip. Technically the 275/40 should be mounted on a 9" wide rim but can be squeezed on the 8" width.
I have a pair(2)of factory 98 Cobra wheels (Cobra R style 5 spoke) for $100 if you wanted any spares.

if your gonna put the the ranger axles in ure saleen/mark vii rear end your gonna have to use the passenger side caliper bracket on the driver side and vise cersa. then ure also going to have to modify your parking brake cable. I'm planning on doing this since I have a mark vii that I will be taking the motor/tranny and front brakes/rear brakes off of.

If you use the shorter ranger axles, I believe North Cobra makes caliper brackets to convert to disk brakes.
