Looking for Dynojet or Mustang dyno #'s
Not likely for tuning i bet
My buddy has an AWD Mustang Dyno in UC.
CDT has a Mustang dyno in Hayward.
Nick has a Dynojet in Hayward.
I think someone has dynapacs in Hayward also.
I may be forgeting 1 or 2 but i believe those are about it. [ January 19, 2007, 01:11 PM: Message edited by: TRIXSNK ]

whats the diff. in a mustang dyno and dynojet? I didn't know there were so many around... Definately not for tunning lol, what's the avg price and how many pulls do you get, and is there anybody you reccomend for a carb application (might try to do it myself).. I just need about 4 or 5 runs with minor tuning, nothing too radical

W/o getting too technical they vary in the fact that Mustang #'s tend to read about 10% lower than Dynojets for the most part give or take.
It all has to due with the way in which each system calculates rwhp.
When you throw tuning in the mix it will highly depend upon if the owner/operator of the dyno has the ability to tune carbed applications.
If not you'll need to hire a tuner and rent the dyno time.
Avg. prices just for pulls is usually around $75-100 for about 3 pulls including your s/f ratio.
edit: I meant A/F ratio
Also if you feel like making adjustments on the dyno i don't the operators would have too much of a prob w/ that unless it is stated that you can't make adjustments as they may charge you dyno rental time which can vary but may avg. about $100/hr. ok, thanks... either one should work since i don't really care what #'s it shows as long as they get better than what i baseline at on the 1st pull
