6th gear in a T56 is about the same as a T5, 5th gear is in between 4th and 5th.

it all depend on which one you get...

a normal T56 in most cars...03-04 Cobra etc has this ratio

1) 2.97
2) 2.07
3) 1.43
4) 1.00
5) .80
6) .62

whereas a Viper T56 Trans has

1) 2.66
2) 1.78
3) 1.30
4) 1.00
5) .74
6) .50

A little steeper for the gears so you could end up with 4.10's and have great performance throughout your gear ratios...

I have a the Viper trans myself and went with 4.10's because the 3.27's in my car were just too steep. I recommend the change because your performance will increase and you'll still be able to get good mileage


as an example a T5 is normally

1) 2.95
2) 1.94
3) 1.34
4) 1.00
5) .63
