01 gt. no motor mods, just exhaust. Idle dosent sound smooth. There is a small "bump" or miss in idle. Car runs and drives great though. Sometimes when i start it, it will start and die. Upon re-start, it starts fine and continues with the shitty idle. Any ideas? just changed plugs and oil. Im thinking egr or somthing along that line.

check for vacum leaks. a little carb spray or brake cleaner sprayed in there should do the trick.

i looked at all the vacum lines. they seem to be ok. i will check tomorrow with some carb cleaner. Thanks.

Sounds like it has a injector problem to me...Could have one thats leaking when sitting and that could be causing the starting problem when cold and the random miss at idle......If it is a 01 put a scanner on it.It should store a random miss fire code,if it does try moving the injector to another cylinder if it follows the injector change the inject.If it doesnt then try moving the coil pack...

Well im sure it has a temp miss fire data log in the pcm...you will have to put a high quality scanner on it to see it.....

i have a basic code scanner. ill have to try to get my hands on a good one.
