need someone that knows lightning really good, 01 lightning makeing a not quit a knocking but close, on the botton end of the engine,like the crank... i just made the switch to full synthetic last weekend havent turned it on since and this morning discoverd that noise thanks

what weight oil did you use because if it is too thick it will tick. the oil passages in the 5.4 are really small. i have an 01 as well and the motor has been warranted once for a rod knock, they are known for that problem, but unles it is loud i would not worry about it.

i ised the same weight 5w20 only upgraded to full synthetic, its really bothering meknow of a good svt guy, i think fremont for or serromonte ford will charge a grip.
