Where can I find an inexpensive dyno shop in Sacramento area. The two I called want $125. I just need some baseline pulls before I do the mods to my F150. Afterwards I'll pay the money for tunes.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks Matt

There is a mustang dyno in Rocklin, I don't remember the name but its $75 for 3 pulls, Its over by pick-n-pull, on pacific/taylor. There is a ford fleet place and a marco mufflers, its down the road with the marco.

Also a ricer shop with a 4 wheel dyno! right next to the mustang place

Throttle Stop got rid of their dyno, and that ford fleet place sucks. [Big Grin]

Anyone else know of one?

my buddy had his car there and they couldnt finifh it they had him come get us to go up there and tell them how to finish it was a tough combo blower and all i also heard that they blew up a motor and that may be why they dont have the dyno anymore

haha I belive it, when I called to ask if they install torque boxes and subframes, he said no on the tq boxes "any decent welding shop can do it for you" well why would I have them install the subframes when they are obviously not a "decent welding shop" lol

Midnight Performance off Sunrise/WhiteRock has a Dynojet 248. I've done some tuning over there on occuassion. The owner is Warren & is a good, knowledgable guy. Imort Shop....but they have no problem dynoing anything....they just won't tune it.

DO NOT TUNE ON A DYNOJET!!! NO LOAD...CAN LEAN OUT MOTOR WITH FALSE READINGS...DETONATION...

Too much air flow thru MAF(like spinning wheels in neutral)element in maf cannot cool down ,causing motor to go lean ,especially at high rpm,s on high HP motors...OK for up to 400rwhp will only see about 5% differance on street.

No 60' times..no 1/4 mile times..gives readings rwhp about 10% higher than Mustang Dyno..due to no load. I've been told especially in stand alone systems like FAST it is especially hard to tune.

Jeff! I know your reputation ,and you are considered the best tuner on the West Coast(Retired)
I am not the authority here but given this info by a top tuner back east.

If I am that far off, please correct me,and explain why.
