Hmm..just curious...getting my Convertible back together...

decided to put some "spare" parts I have lying around..

here it is...

Fresh Rebuild 302
TFS Stage 1
Edelbrock Performer RPM heads done by Gerolamy's in Sacto.
1.6 Rollers from FMS
Holley Systemax
S-trim on stock pulley hopefully 8 psi
Long tubes w/ catted X-pipe..maybe...
Correct fuel system components
Correct ignition components
Stand Alone Computer Fuel Management

this is just a daily driver so nothing more radical than this more than likely..

I'm thinkin 370-380 rear wheel...

Too hopeful?
'

all matted through a 6-speed...

Not much of a driver but I think youre under, I think 400-425 at 8 psi.

Edit I think an F-cam would be more beneficial.

It depends how the heads flow. i made 400 with a similar combo, but it was only seeing 6-7 psi

i made 371rwhp 380tq with gt40 iron heads/stock cam but a novi 2000 with 9-10 psi good luck

I would say close to 390-400rwhp with a good (safe) tune, and a good fuel system.

And yes, this combo would make a good daily driver [Smile]

You have the 6 or 8 rib pulley on the vortech? Should be close to 400 I would think.

it's an 8-rib V1 S-trim ...going to be just as noisy as my Cobra...lol....

as for a daily driver...I don't see how a 400RW blown and stock compression car will not be able to a daily driver with ease...especially when it won't be daily driven that much....

great..this is what I was hoping for...heads are 2.02 instead of 1.94's so hopefully I'll push about the same power if not a tit more than this...

I made 442rwhp with the same combo, except the intake. Ya, it was a OLD Performer that was ported. That's it.
