when upgrading gears from stock to somthing like a 4.10 or a 3.73 i was wondering what else you need to change with it to read the correct speed for a 1987 ford mustang 5.0 five speed?

3.73-21 tooth white gear
4.10-23 tooth white gear.

3.55's are a 20-tooth.

Remember though, this is all based on you having a 1987 model transmission...if you have a 1990 and later, it's completely different.
