the lower 1/2 of my two tone gt paint is flaking/chiping. What is the best way to paint the lower half without taking the gt kit of the car and what pait to use? Can rattel can bumper coating work?

I herd that you have to use a special flexable type of paint. I can afford a body shop [Smile]
thanks

wow seems like you are on a really low budget, best is to take off sand down prime, wetsand, seal, and paint, at a booth with a gun that is, but if u are on a budget and dont wanna do all that work of taking the kit off that get 3mfine line tape, and carfull tape of the top are so that oversparay wont get on the bodym, maybe 400 wetsand paper will work just fine to gibe the old paint a good scuff and dull it up no shiney spots what so ever, u can go down to your local auto apint store and they can make paint for in a aerosol can , and just dont run, it shake they aersol can good, maybe even heat up like a pot of water, not boiling and put the aerosol can inside for a few minuted, it just goes on a lot better.

nice help on the instructions.

right before you spray wipe down whatever is to be painted with some prep-sol.

if you don't have any primed or fresh paint you can use rubbing alcohol(not peroxide) from your bathroom.

wipe on...and wipe off before the solvent dries.
use a clean white t shirt. rip it into 2 pieces.
