Hey hopefully someone can help me out with this... My car runs great with no problems, aside from the overheating. I can let it sit in 110+ degree weather for an hour and the temp will never rise, as soon as I drive it and somewhat floor it or turn my A/C on my temp goes to the A of normal and wont cool down to normal until I stop and let it idle. I don't loose any coolant what so ever. It won't fully overheat but it does as stated before go to the A. If its cool outside it wont get hot unless I floor it from launch to 130mph. I previously replaced the hoses, radiator, coolant temp sensor twice and water pump when I put this engine in.

Did you replace your radiator for another stock one or a bigger one?

Perhaps you have air in the system. You can try water wetter too.

You need to bleed your coolant.

The radiator is just a stock replacement unit. IS there a bleeder valve like on the 3.8? I have tried to bleed it several times by squezing the hoses, I thought it had worked but I will try it again and go from there. Thanks for the help guys.

I don't know crap about MODULARS but it sounds like the thermostat is getting stuck or you may need to upgrade to an Aluminum radiator, also check the hoses and how are you doing on your coolant? TTT [patriot]

I had originally thought it was the thermostat so I took it out and have been running without one, no improvement, it runs at the same temp. My coolant is fine, I drained it and replaced it with water wetter. It runs at the same temp, heats up just like it did with a thermostat and coolant it just cools down quicker after I get off the throttle.
