ive got a 95gt, and originally i planned a 347 with spray... was gonna go fully forged, afr 185s, RPM II upper and lower, or trick flow Box R intake. WIth a wet-plate system 150-300 shot. Just my idea.

Here's my general idea for now, a little different from yours. Dart or R block, all forged internals, AFR 185s, RPM II or similar intake, S-trim. My goal is deep into the 11s, something that can hang a turn, and be daily driveable (even though I won't). It's gonna cost a lot of money, but ya gotta pay if you wanna play. Set a goal and go from there.

You won't need a R block to run 11's so don't waste Your money on an expenisive block when You don't need it. HCI with an S trim on a stockblock 302-306 can get You well into the 10's.

10s on a setup geared more towards twisties? I'd like to do easy 11s no powershifting, no high rpm launches. A stock block can handle 500-600RWHP?

Im going with the Dart block, little stronger, and less machining work needed right off the bat. Time, money, and lots of patience...i intend low 10s i hope. I want a blown 347, i want 600+ to the tires. In short i wanna be broke for years to come lol.

There's a couple N/A 347's on this site that have run 10's on motor at 126+mph. One is carbed & the lightest of the 3, another weighs in at 3200lbs has A/C, PS, EFI & is perfectly daily drivable (no joke), the last one is an SN95 show-car that makes more power than any other EFI N/A pump gas 347 in the country.....& is the heaviest of the 3 at 3250-3300lbs raceweight.
Add a dart block to any of these proven combos & a little spray will go a LONG way.
