Like the title says, my car started tweaking yesterday. I turn on the ignition and the car just MAKES a CLICKING noise. Can it be my ALTERNATOR or my STARTER. I tried it with another battery and it just makes the same clicking noise, even though the battery gauge reads below half with both batteries. With the old one it's almost dead, with the one I borrowed it's a tad better but it's still below the half way point in my volts gauge. Please I need some help I'm going crazy.... TTT [patriot]

I'd go through and check all your wires first. Make sure it's hooked up right and nuts/bolts are tightened. Then maybe look into the starter.

if it turns over and gets spark but still wont start check your fuel pump or filter.

I would try the solinoid then check the starter but before all that check the wires. as for the battery I would take it to the nearest kragen or autozone, charge it and then check it, its free.

Is the starter any good?

I jump started the car with the cables but it dies soon after. I think I need a new alternator.... TTT [patriot]
