gear oil, 2 qts

get synthetic or you'll also need to buy friction modifier from ford.

I use mobil1 synth gear oil in mine.

I know FORD lubricants are fairly good but costly.

When i bought some 75/140W stuff from FORD it was like $14 a bottle

When i change out the new Cobra's fluid i'll likely use something like Royal Purple or Mobil 1 synthetic.

think i used royal purple 75/140, it costed a little less than 10bucks per bottle(from gotellis). i used 3 bottles.
