I've got a 98 Cobra with a Vortech s/c. After adding the Anderson Power-Pipe, it started backfiring under heavy load (~5000 rpm). It has stock injectors (24 lbs/hr), stock fuel pressure regulator and FMU. Do I need to upgeade the injectors, say 42 lbs/hr, get rid of the FMU, install a adjustable fuel regulator, install a bigger in-tank fuel pump, say 255 lph? Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.

you DEFINITELY need to update the fuel setup. i wouldnt run that on anything more than mild boltons

yea specially now witht he pipe. It prolly gave you a coulpe more of boost. the "crackfireing" is prolly dangerous lean popping which you definitely don't want. get some 42's
