i know they come in either the 4.6 or the 5.4...jus wonderng..might be pickin one up after a few months of saving at the new job (hopefully fingers crossed)

I sold my 04 4.6, it's a slug, it's not a 3 valve, if you can afford it buy the 5.4, that has the 3 valve.

The 4.6 is a 2v, the 5.4 is a 3V.

Are the newer F150s still running at 231 HP? If they have bumped up the HP in the newer models, 04+, then they have switched to the 3V in the 4.6L. I would assume that they have due to the need to keep it simple in the manufacturing process.

Your truck is a 2 valve per hole. Unless its a GT motor that got stuffed in there.

If you can get f150, why no cobra? 5.4 all the way man
