Like the title says...has anyone ever modified their stock steering knuckle to eliminate their rag joint from the steering setup for more solid steering...i am finishing off my k-member setup and wondered if anyone has just drilled out the rag joint and then bolted it straight to the clip that slides onto the rack...thanks..Paul...

I have but damn was it a pain in the ass...

1st I cut the bar that holds the two bolts in place....

then I had to grind down each bolt o nthe end to allwo it fit....next I had to use different nuts and lock washers on each one so that it would lock on to the rubber padding..

it seems to work fine this way...
