yes. The TC rear comes with 3.73 in auto cars and 3.55's in 5speed cars.

'84 SVO 3.55's. '85-'86 SVO 3.73's.

Brakes and axles are same between 7.5 and 8.8.

T/C have 4 lugs while SVO's have 5 lug.

Turbo coupe rears came with 3.73 gears in auto cars and 3.55's in stick cars. Take out the axles and 4 lug brakes, put on the SVO brakes and axles and viola, cheap 8.8" rear with discs. I bought my turbo rear from a wrecking yard minus axles and brakes for $80, little did they know, as I did, that it had a 3.73 posi. Just a little note to those trying do do what I did.
