What have you guys done that don't have air tools to take off your front struts? I am lost with out Air tools right now. I don't really want to go buy an air compressor and impact gun just for the struts? I know there are guys out there that have done it with out? Help me out guys!

Are you gonna put the same struts back on? Vice grips on shaft could work, but might fuck them up...

Ive never had a problem? There is a nut looking thing down by the rotors that you remove the bolt from, its welded? What are you having a problem with?

I think he means he is having trouble getting the nut off of the top of the strut shaft in the engine bay where the c/c plates are

You can get a tool that does the same job, but looks a little different at Napa.
Just put that tool on top of the strut with a breaker and then use a wrench on the nut holding the strut. You do NOT use impact tools, it ruins the strut!
Very easy!!!!
