I read it somewhere once and not that long ago but after an hour of searching I give up and will ask.

There are two wire harnesses under my 2002 gt driver seat that I'm wanting to wire to my 89 lx stock lumbar wires.

Between the two wire harnesses on the 02 seat there are 4 wires to one harness and 2 wire on the other harness. How to I bring all six of the 02 wire in contact with my stock two wires?

Each of the two wire harnesses on the 02 seat have a black ground. I'm guessing I take those two grounds and connect them to the black ground in my car. Then take all the other wires from the 02 seat and somehow put them all together and tap them into the black/white wire that is left from my car.

Did I make it confusing enough? Please advise.

use a voltmeter [Wink]

from what I remember when I wired mine, you only need to give power to the thickest green wire on the seat harness for all the functions to work, and ground to both black wires.

Voltmeter good idea. I rarley use it so I didn't think of it.

What about the highth? I put the passenger one in yesterday and I'm 6'2"...to tall for me. Any way I can get them lower and still be able to use the sliders?

I put 02 seats in my 89GT like stated the green will power all seat controls but the 2 wire harness is for the lumbar button on the side you will need to run power and ground to that also if you want lumbar to work if I remember corectly. as far as the height to my knowledge the only thing you can do is put fox body manual seat tracks on the seats, so you would have to give up the power. I am 6foot and I have about 1/2" between my head and headliner.

yea I ended up taking the 02 seats out of my car, even after swapping to the foxbody sliders it was too high (I'm 6'5")

now they're in my convertable, no issues with seat height in that car with the top down [Razz]
