I just finally shelled out the 5 grand for a Hellion Turbo Kit, well I've only had this stang for a few weeks, but anyways my mods are so far:

BBK 70mm TB
Mystery Cam
BBK Off Road H-Pipe
2 Chamber Catback Flowmasters

I was told a new intake manifold will not help very much, I wanted to pick up a GT-40 but they are supposedly discontinued from Summit. BBK didn't recommened I shell out $600+ for theirs as it "wouldn't help much, but wouldn't hurt"

I hate to lose my flowmasters as I know they are going to create backpressure, any muffler recommendations?

get some straight through mufflers, turbos are a big fan of backpressure. tfs intakes [patriot] [Whoo Whooooo!]

i hear good things about the dynomax bullets, from people with turbos.

So I assume you have a 302 w/ stock heads? If so I would consider upgrading your heads at the same time you do the intake.

If you plan on keeping the stock heads then just get a used Cobra or GT40 intake.

yeah i have a bone stock 302 w/ stock heads, i'll have to wait and see the dyno numbers.

according to hellion on there site, there kit comes with a 62mm turbo, i dont think thats over kill for a stock motor...but if you already have a motor built then defenetly get the box intake... [patriot]

with 122k miles you are honestly playing with fire.

i'll just have to wait and see, i'm not scared to spend a little cash, i'll play with the fire, you never know unless you try

that's a good attitude, so many people do these types of things, then when it breaks they are shocked and sad. I wouldn't buy an intake unless it was real cheap, or I would buy for the future

here is my setup and maybe that will give you a couple of ideas

t04 turbo .61/.96 a/r
track heat intake
tw heads
e303 cam
70mm tb
universal blow thru
42lbers
dynomax straight through mufflers 3 inch

I am also going to contact 93 pony and see if he can set me up with a good tune.
