I'll be launching w/ Drag radials, but I don't have sub frame connectors on there yet. I've heard that it can make it flex pretty bad. What do you guys think? would I be ok with it just for that day?

You should be ok with that setup, but get some subframes soon they are pretty cheap.

With the mods in your sig below, you're not going to be pulling the wheels off the ground. You'll be fine without subframes.
