hello, i'm looking for a trunk lid for my car since the one i have is all dented and i've decided to replace it. the question is, will the trunk lid from a convertible fit a coupe? are they different or interchangeable?
thanks a lot.

Exactly the same.
BUT
Many convertible lids had a luggage rack so make sure you avoid those.

convertibles also have extra holes because the hinges are external. I would try to find another coupe one.

actually they're completely different in the method they attach to the car, the vert lids attach with hinges on top of the trunk at the corners and the coupe lids have arms on the inside that mount into the trunk lid.

Thats odd... My 1993 Convertible lid was EXACTLY like a notch lid. Oh well, maybe some years were different. Mine was the same so that is all I go by.

You just ended up with holes in the top of the trunk lid from the convertible's hinges, right?
