i have a ques about my maf sensor,it came off mike's(uh0h5o) 90 gt, and last week one of may friends wanted to try and use my maf sensor becuase his car was acting wiered. and his maf sensor there is no bar that goes down the center like mine.i was told that mine is aftermarket and that it is a 93 cobra maf sensor, and mine is huge compared to all of the other meters ive seen. here are pictures to help better explain.

Not sure what you are asking. The top picture looks like a MAF from a 94/95 GT.

basicly im asking what did my maf sensor come from?
becuase all of the other 5.0 maf sensors ive seen have just a hole in it and doesnt have a bar like mine

It looks like a ford part (probably calibrated for 19lb injectors and is probably a 70mm unit like the 94/95 gt/cobra). The "mess" in the middle is the way ford made it [Big Grin]

Yes, the top picture is definately a ford part. I think 93 cobra MAFs also had the bar down the middle lik the 94 95 GT MAFs. I think each of those MAFs will make your car run a little bit rich with 19 lbs injectors. If you're trouble shooting, try to find a stock 5.O MAF.

my notch is still speed density and im hoping to go mass air sone, and my frien was having trouble with his car and he though it was the maf sensor so i took mine off and saw his and his was completely different
