Has anybody ever tried running dual centrifugal superchargers before? I know it sounds crazy, but I mean running two smaller blowers instead of one huge one, similar to small turbo's. I somehow came accross two ATI Procharger P600B's and was about to sell one, but all of a sudden my wheels started turning...
Any thoughts?

2 superchargers would create too much parasitic drag for the engine to turn them. Also a more complex belt system that would just be a hassle. You are better off buying a SINGLE SC that is matched to your engines output and boost capability.
It has been done, but I surely wouldn't do it.

Any idears on what I might be able to get for a **CARB LEGAL** ATI P600B supercharger kit (9-14 psi) for 87-93 Mustang with AC and PS? It has 12 rib pulleys for the crank and tensioner (upgraded part, but requires minor fan shroud trimming), no pulley for the SC, about $100 new from ATI, no belt, about $75 from ATI, and no plumbing (make your own). Basically a head unit that is in great shape, a bracket, a tensioner, a crank pulley, and some hardware.

Yeah, sounds interesting but I think a twin turbo setup would be much better.

I saw one that Paxton did years ago in Super Ford. It put down like 670 HP and 711 ft lb torque on a totally stock 5.0. I'm sure it wouldnt last long though....
I just found this....

I am pretty sure they produced a twin supercharged 427 cobra for a famous person back in the day? Think it was a black comedian. Anyone else remember the detail's?

Mr. Bill Cosby....Ol' Shelby filled his request to build him the fastest car he had ever built. He stepped on the gas one time, crapped his pants, gave it to a museum, and soon after wrote one of his most famous skits "200 MPH".
Here it is:
One of my all-time favorite Cobras...
