so i have to take my upper and lower intake off and ajust my rockers i thinking on doing them 18ft lbs is that good or what i do have a high lift cam

I can barely understand what you wrote....

You don't have to take your lower intake off to adjust your rockers, but then again you didn't even tell us what kind of car you're working on!...

If this is for an 89 GT then you need to learn what "lifter Preload" is....Is doesn't matter what you have if you don't understand the basics....Standard 5.0 rockers are non adjustable and require shimming to get the correct lifter preload...The torque specs depend on your rocker set up NOT what kinda cam you have...

Seriously, PLEASE learn to write/post so we can help you out more...
