Both or neither. Ask this question to ten people and you'll get 10 different answers. The best one is the one you can afford and are happy with. Once you have saved up $4,000 in the bank, come back and ask this question again.

I prefer turbo charger. More power due to less parastic drag. So same boost equals more power with turbo. Change the boost preasure on the fly with a turbo. IE dont have to change pullys to change boost. Can be done incredibly cheaply if you have a welder and dont mind sourcing some parts from the junkyard.easier on the crank. dont have to worry about belt slippage.blow off valve sounds sick.

lol, how you know he ain't got $4000 in the bank? He actually purchased a Procharger F1R (which cost more than $4000) but just wanted everyone's imput. Also if you don't have an answer, then don't answer. The easy, uneducated response is always "it depends on what you want to spend", this is true but that wasn't the question. He wanted reasons behind everyone's responses.

The price on this kit posted in general talk makes turbos sound good.

I think a lot of it does have to do with what you want out of the car HP, power curve, all out drag car , streetable driver, etc.
I'm in the market to put a single on a fox body now that the Cobra's gone
Just don't know if i want to piece together a kit myself or purchase a kit from one of the companies that offer them.
Also it just like any other recipe for power as you will probably need the fp, inj, maf, tune etc to extract the hp safely.
The previous mentioned kit does not include any of the fuel requirements i don't think.
Hellions kit seems like a well done kit as it keeps smog pump and a/c so they say and requires the least modification to make the system fit correctly.

Superchargers are cheaper, easier to install, and are (in most cases) smog legal.
Turbos are more efficient (ie no pulleys).
Both have plenty of power potential.

Come back when you have 30g's to spend lol
Anyways if money didn't matter I would go turbo hands down. 90% efficiency compared to 60% of a supercharger.
