How hard is it to convert a 89 mustang without a airbag steering wheels to say one with and airbag???

The question is why?
I can see going to an older one because of the tilt.
But an airbag? that doesn't deploy half the time.

I just want an airbag in case shit happens. I had alot of buddy's bapp and fuck their faces up cuz they didnt have an airbag. And Im a pretty ass bitch lol.... It would be a little more conforting thats all. I kinda wanted to put a steering wheelsfrom like a newer stang like above 98

Well if you find you can do it I have a steering wheel column from a 98 with key for cheap.
I'm sure if it's a feasible prject with the stock dash.

i changed my mind just get a 5 point seat harnness its alot better than a simple sterring wheel airbag , plus airbags can fuck you up too.

I hope you really thinkn about this too, I have seen seats rip out of there stock mounts and the harness tend to do more damage. If you have a cage Tie the seat to the cage so you cant get choked out by your harness
