I have a 91 Gt and for some reason when I go to start it. It will just die like it has a bad battery or somthing. I have changed the alternator and the battery. But it will still do the same thing sometimes and not start. Any ideas of what it might be? Sometimes it works fin somtimes it does'nt. Its really weird. I think my car is a bucket LOL!

Is it making any noise when it won't start?

When it doesn't start check to see that you have both fuel and spark. This will help you narrow down where the problem is.

No noise no lights no nothing. Its as if I have a bad battery but I just replaced it and got it tested and it is fine. It is an intermittent problem.

Check your battery connections at the solenoid, the battery, and the ground at the block.

Remove the battery cables from battery. Install jumper cables from battery to solinoid (Positive) and exaust manifold bolt(Negitive)Side of cable. Start car. Remove negitive cable to see if car keeps running Idel only. Make sure all loads are OFF. This will tell you if its a cable problem or a charging problem.
