well yesterday while going to the track my car died once when i hit the brakes also the car felt funny, when i was getting on the gas hard it would not go as smooth, then at the track i loss almost 3 mph, i was running 13.6 at 100 mph all day when before i was at 103-102, so when i was coming home the car died on me three times when ever i hit the brake hard, so today i was checking the car and my air filter the part that goes inside the fender well felt off, the good thing that it was still inside the fender, also the negative terminal that connects to the battery was lose, now my question is could both of those be the problem of losing 2-3mph and the car dying on me? I'm just worried because i lose power to the brakes when the car turns off.
BTW this is on my 4.6

how about simply securing the battery cable and putting the filter back in place? after that we can race again..
if i put 3 or 4 cars on you again like i did on the san mateo bridge.. then we know it's just you.

i did all that, and it was more like 2-3 cars, but that's ok your car is much lighter and about 40 hp more than mine, but wait until i do my heads this summer and then we will race again.

i go to school on thursday night.. i missed class today.. i was out with a headache.
can you do it tomorrow? friday night is good for me too .. but you might actually have a life and want to go out or something ..
