jus wondering which 5 lug rear ends will work in a fox? and is it true 99 and up were 31 spline axles? if so will a 99 jus drop right in thanx!

94+ solid axles are 5 lug, and as far as I know they're all 28 spline...

*(I think) 98's axle housing Are .5" wider on each side comparted to the 94 and the 99 axle housing is 3/4" wider...

Incorrect.

The link above is my personal page. I wrote it.

94-98 axles were 0.75 inches longer per side than 87-93. 99+ were even longer than that.

Do not try to use 99-up axles on your car.

The 99+ rearend will physically bolt up BUT there are no caliper brackets that will fit 99-up axles on a non 99-up axle housing.

Stay with 94-98 stuff and you'll be fine.

If you are gonna use 17x9 or larger, use ranger/aerostar axles and the north cobra caliper brackets.
